Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Epic Little Hero website and personalized children's book service operated by Epic Little Hero ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase books. By using this service you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You may use the service on behalf of a minor child for whom you are a parent or legal guardian.

Epic Little Hero provides an AI-powered tool that generates personalized illustrated children's books in PDF format. You upload photos and story preferences; we use them to produce a custom illustrated book via AI. The final product is a downloadable PDF file.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

• The price is $29 per book. Each book currently features one personalized character.
• All prices are in US dollars and include the PDF download.
• Payment is processed at checkout by the available payment provider.
• Coupon codes are applied at checkout and may provide a percentage or fixed-amount discount.

Because our product is a digitally generated file, we generally do not offer refunds once your book has been generated. If your book was not generated due to a technical error on our side, or if you are dissatisfied with the quality of the illustrations, please contact us within 7 days of purchase through our contact form and we will work to resolve the issue, which may include a regeneration or a refund at our discretion.

Photos you upload:

You retain all rights to the photos you upload. By uploading photos you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them solely for the purpose of generating your book. We delete them after the completed PDF is verified, or seven days after the order was created if the book remains unfinished.

Generated books:

Once you have paid for and downloaded your book, you own a perpetual personal license to print and use it for non-commercial personal use. You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the generated content commercially without our written permission.

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of people other than your own children, or photos for which you do not have the right to use
• Request story content that is violent, sexually explicit, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate for children
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Use the service to generate content for commercial resale without our written agreement
• Impersonate another person or provide false information

We reserve the right to refuse service and cancel orders that we reasonably believe violate these restrictions, with a full refund of any amount paid.

Our books are created using artificial intelligence. Results may vary — illustrations are not guaranteed to be photorealistic likenesses of your child. The accuracy of the resemblance depends on the quality, quantity, and variety of photos you provide. We recommend uploading at least two clear, front-facing photos for best results. By using the service you acknowledge and accept this inherent variability of AI-generated imagery.

No customer account is needed. Your completed PDF is available to download for 30 days from when it is first ready. Save a copy on your device. The PDF and its story text are deleted when that period ends.

The Epic Little Hero brand, website design, software, and all content we create (excluding your generated books) are owned by Epic Little Hero and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform or design without our written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Epic Little Hero shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, arising out of your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
